This compendium provides a central repository that allows stakeholders to identify the range of molecular diagnostic tools that are available to support marine biosecurity research and surveillance in Australia.
Aim of this project was to:
- To publish a list of molecular diagnostic tools (species-specific assays) of relevance to Australian marine biosecurity in a searchable spreadsheet with links to publications where available (accurate to June 2021).
Additionally, a list of Australian molecular diagnostic facilities that can undertake molecular diagnostic services for marine pest species, along with their experience, capabilities and operating framework, is available on request.
